HOW TO EASILY CLEAR ERROR CODES ON GOTV DECODERS

I personally have a serious dislike for the GOTV error codes. Fear of running into them has made me turn clients away so many times. How much profit is on a sub when one would now spend lots of naira to call their support team to clear error codes!

These three methods can come handy when you need to reset your decoder:

Activating Your GOTV via SMS

To make use of the Text message method, simply text 'reset and Your GOTV account number' to 4688. In case you don't know where to find your GOTV account number, it is located under the GOTV decoder.

Activating Your GOTV Using the Online Method

To use this online method, CLICK HERE to go to their official Eazy GOTV website and log into your account with your surname and your account number or registered phone number. Proceed to Clear your error dialogue box, select E16 and click on Reset device now. That’s all.

Activating Your GOTV via Phone

To use this phone method, simply dial the USSD code *423# on any network and follow the voice prompt to activate your GOVT.  

Hopefully, you won’t need to call their support ‘toll free’ line 08139840350 before your reset is successful.
