Sometime ago we published a post on how to transfer money from your bank accounts using USSD codes. Now, here are the individual bank’s USSD codes that you can use to buy airtime from your banks. Also included is GTBanks code for sending a friend or family member some recharge cards (airtime)

For instance if you are feeling fly and you decide to send us recharge card/airtime just dial and send *737*500*08063199218# (Please don’t mind the 500naira o, u can make it smaller or bigger. Lol. Just kidding actually)
But note that the following will be required of you before the transaction is approved:
• Last four digits of your ATM card will be requested from you. If you do not use ATM then you can’t use this service. Hey, don’t fret over the last four digits issue. If GTBank requests such from you it is totally safe. Be rest assured)
• You can only dial this code via your GTBank registered phone number
• This service is presently available for MTN, Etisalat and Airtel recharge cards.
• You will not be charged for using this service, though you are not permitted to recharge more than 5000naira daily
