NATIONAL SECRETARIAT, ABUJA.
PRESS RELEASE!
XENOPHOBIC ATTACK IN SOUTH AFRICA
"Little people are intolerant, selfish and impatient. Wise people are calm, loving and understanding"! (Maxime Lagacé)
A flashback into history to visualize the fundamental inputs Nigeria made during the apartheid in South Africa to restore freedom and democracy; from research, during the apartheid era in South Africa, Nigeria was one of the foremost supporters of anti-apartheid movements, including the African National Congress; the Nigerian government issued more than 300 passports to South Africans seeking to travel abroad. This was just part of the historic realities those carrying out XENOPHOBIC ATTACK on Nigerian and other African Nationals are ignorant of.
DEEJAYS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (DJAN), the umbrella body of all DJs in Nigeria and in the Diaspora hereby condemn in the Strongest Terms, the Attacks on Nigerians and other blacks in South Africa.
DEEJAYS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (DJAN) hereby commends the Federal Government of Nigeria for drawing the "Red Line" and making adequate efforts to bring back Nigerians who are willing to return home Immediately.
We call on the international communities to add voice to the condemnation of this heinous act and bring perpetrators to justice.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
DJS.... ONE BEAT, ONE VOICE!
Signed:
Comrade Tade Adeyemi (DJ Kool)
National President
Comrade Sebastian Ikpoza (DJ Desert Storm)
